An event can be anything. A party, a club, an orgy...whatever you want. Once you create an event you can invite people to it. We suggest this for private parties, one off, and club events that occur now and again: although you can create an event for almost anything.

CLUB PROMOTERS: Why don't you create a group for your weekly clubs, which allows interaction between the group members  and yousrselves. You can then BROADCAST a message when a party is coming up...targeting those who want to go.
